Board rejects DEA offer

This afternoon the Dixon Education Association sent a union pre-ratified proposal to the Dixon Board of Education. This proposal had already been ratified by DEA members, meaning that if the board had accepted it, students and teachers would have been back in the classroom on Thursday.  The board REJECTED the offer.

The Dixon Education Association will be holding a parent information meeting at the Dixon Elks, 1279 Franklin Grove Road this evening from 6:00 – 7:30 p.m. Please join us for this presentation and opportunity to have your questions answered by the teachers.

YOU WILL SEE THEM STRIKE TOO !!! for shame on them…. no wonder we are close to being ranked last in the world for our education…. Kids need books to learn, give our kids a chance in life! GIVE them more books, and special needs kids need a better program where is it.. Oh that’s right, you don’t have any! another for shame on you … Give those teachers what they need to be GREAT teachers !!!!
